One is tangible and real. The other isn't.
One empowers humans to make moral decisions, treat life as sacred, and do unto others as they would have them do unto them.

The other seeks to replace God on the throne and keep humans in an ever-dependent state.

I'll put my faith into a higher power over the Nanny State.
