The losses incurred during this economic depression in 2008 are real.

The difference for the top 1% is they were able to use their clout over the government to socialize many of their losses.

Now they propose paying down the costs of their government welfare with payroll tax hikes on people who work for a living and major cuts in Medicare and Social Security benefits.

If you say money is free speech, it's difficult to achieve a different outcome.
