ALL: The Concept, the History, the RE-BIRTH of this NEWS CENTER.. FLASH thread. This thread was started by Bill Monier back on Nov 5th 97 and for whatever reason, the thread never took off. I stumbled on this thread the other day and VERY MUCH Liked the concept of the opening Statement/Heading of the thread. I am hoping, starting MONDAY or BEFORE, many people will start posting NEWS THAT MOVES STOCKS here. The BEST would be REAL TIME News ( NEWS before the Free sites like Yahhoo Post the News ) Would also like to see AFTER THE MARKET CLOSE NEWS Posted here, as well as BEFORE THE MARKET OPENS NEWS. PLEASE REMEMBER: Make your FIRST LINE A DETAILED SUBJECT LINE so people scanning though the postings have an Idea what each post is about. Be SURE to put the STOCK SYMBOL on that FIRST LINE. If you are not Posting a NEWS STORY but offering Comment and Commentary, please include the WORD " Comment " or any other discriptive words and the stock symbol in the first line.
