One way to eventually create inflation is to get the prices of the "input" commodities low enough that they have no where to go but up.

Not sure we are completely there yet but we have to be reaching close to that point with gasoline. Maybe it's now, possibly 6 months out or even a little longer?

If inflation can be "orchestrated" by the manipulation of oil, it would fit into the CB's current policies. They have room for negative interest rates and QE until such a time where it's clear that commodities have reached their trough.

A bit more "short term pain" for the fixed income crowd but eventually the global community comes out the other side with a brighter future.

This also coincides with keeping financial pressures on Russia, Iran and Venezuela. 3 global wildcards.
