KZAP, your best source of info may at this time may be the GOLD PRICE
MONITOR thread. Bobby Yellin is very active on that thread & may
be able to give us some "ideas". See Message 3037013 (I have not
verified this....you may want to check it out).

I have not been as active with mining stocks lately....except on a "hold"
basis. Have been investing more in oil. I am still holding mining
companies that "are in production" and staying clear of VSE,ME AND
OR TSE. There may be some good buying opportunities but it may be
a good while before recovery of the mining industry IMHO. However, I do watch the Midas Fund ( a gold mutual fund). Depending on more
favorable return on investment from the oil I may consider going
back in to RGLD with a small speculative position. Presently I am
still not invested in RGLD at this time.....yet.

HAPPY BIDS.....thanks for the vote of confidence !!!! Once again, glad to see you active on this thread.......still holding?

Good luck to ya all, hope your Christmas holidays were good to ya all.
Happy, Prosperous NEW YEAR !!!!!

Alan

Happy Bids post #11 makes goods sense to me. Although, gold as "just
a commodity metal" may or may not happen. IMHO if a catastrophic
condition suddenly developes then I think that gold would be
then considered more than "just a commodity metal" IMHO !!!!!!
