Instock, thanks for getting the juices flowing here. Nothing left to add but some juicy news just off the satelite feed, and directly from the Board of Directors meeting. ;-}
One thing more: We don't have to become news casters to participate. Just share whatever specific news helps influence your daily investment decisions and we'll have plenty of meat here.

As for trading.....Asia remains as the most inportant factor for each days market sentiment. I usually get the overseas picture off cnbc and bloomberg before each days open. I never go long against a down market, or at least wait til a midday reversal (if any) starts to appear. Many of my trading friends have been actively shorting, and on the negative sentiment days, this has been profitable.

As for investments and picking the bottoms, every news announcement will be critical for the next month or two as many will be either nearing their bottom or not.

Irrational exuberance going forward will be much more selective than it was in 1997! Some of the high flyers will fly again..some won't.
