where the government-run system of "free" medical care has produced Thirty years +/- past The Economist devoted an issue comparing the delivery of health care and outcomes around the globe. For Britain they featured a twenty-something girl who'd finally had some horrible facial disfigurement corrected. From infancy to early adulthood she'd borne that burden while waiting in queue. When asked what she thought of the NHS, she thought it wonderful; "Free" y'know.
