Ian, I have sent e-mails to both Dell and the LA Times to find out if there is any truth to that article where it states that Dell advised a lower earnings forecast due to the Asian crisis. Since that is the exact opposite that M. Dell said when he was talking about the last earnings report, it is hard for me to believe that there was any announcement to anyone about lowered earnings expectations last week. And its only mentioned in passing in that article? Hard for me to believe. If anyone answers my e-mail requests for info, I will post it here.
