If Bernie wins, then that is the final nail in the coffin of capitalism in this country, which means what made this country great for 200 years will be a thing of the past. Be careful what you wish for. Lately, you lefties have been getting a lot of what you wish for and it's blowing up the world. If you get Bernie, yes, he may punish Wall Street and I'll cheer with you on that, but when he starts taxing the only earners left in this country at 75% rates to fund his free give aways to all his cronies and all the winners he chooses, then he will destroy this country just as surely as Castro destroyed Cuba, Chavez destroyed Venezuela, de Kirchner destroyed Argentina, and the list goes on.
At some point, the earners won't have any more money left or will find a way to get their money out of the US, which means there won't be any more money for the Socialists in this country steal. What then? Will you Socialists turn your knives on each other? That's what happened in Cuba. Family member turned on family member, when there was nothing left to steal from the "rich" people. Socialism is a disease and we fought two world wars against Socialism, Communism, Fascism, and all those other -isms. Why dance with the devil again? Can't we learn anything from history? |
