Why does anyone have one of those bladders, how do they get water in it, and where does the water come from?

I think it would be silly to run tap water into one. Why do that?

The only reason to have one is to save surface water, like from your ponds, which would otherwise evaporate or sink into the soil in time.

Then since the ponds are likely a good distance from the house, you have to ask would someone run an electrical cord from the house to a pond to power a pump?
