To All: Thanks for all the help! I think I got rid of the thing(s). It was like prying a cockle burr out out of my hair. I downloaded the following programs to get rid of it. adwcleaner SuperAntiware MalwareByte Plus I ran my own antivirus, Avast. Before I ran these I went to my Control Panel and uninstalled some programs I found including NowUSeeIt Player. When I ran the various cleaner programs they told me they found the programs I had uninstalled still on my computer and removed them. That seemed to get rid of the garbage. It is difficult for me to believe that a company would pay to have their ads spammed with a program that utterly snarls up a computer. Do they think I want to buy their products under those conditions? I could not even click on sites I wanted to go to without being shunted to ads. It was almost impossible to reach this talk board. I would get to SI click on this board and go to an ad site. Again thanks for the help! All the Best Druss
