There is a difference between examining the trends that might affect Borland's stock price in the future, and running a service business based on current demand. Which was, after all, generated by a previous "curve".

I look at it this way: my partner and I give our customers what they want today and we try to anticipate what they will want(need) tomorrow. We currently have been using Active-X because it has allowed us to develop in what we want (C++) and let our customers develop in what they want. I have been looking at Java for some time and it might provide a solution in the near future, but today it is still experimental as far as our bottom line.

Any how, the market is large and it will continue to support people who keep their skills up.

Happy Holidays,

Shane
