But he is far from an anti-politician. He hasn't done much outside of being a politician in his short career, and he hasn't been effective at being a legislator while being a politician, in that sense he smacks of the Paul tribe, someone who blithers on about his values and ideals but all he does in government is try to obstruct and then claim that it was useful.

I was long predicting that Rubio would rise to lead the pack at least briefly, but I thought his shot would be prior to the voting. Perhaps he still will rise, but right now I think Trump has things fairly well lined up. Rubio would be greatly helped if Kasich and Carson dropped ASAP, but I don't think that will happen. I think Carson suffers from delusions that by hanging in there and being nice to everyone, he has a shot at VP. However, with Jeb gone I think Rubio gets enough of a boost from those folks to secure #2, and Cruz starts on the downward slide. But its all about delegates, and Trump will have quite a bit of momentum there unless the others pick the #2 and start helping him out while letting the #3 and higher sink.
