Who do you think is going to be paying for all those wounded and disabled veterans that came out of Iraq for the rest of their lives?

I think taxpayers will, but that cost is relatively small, contrary to popular opinion. It will amount to far less than the waste, fraud and abuse in the current food stamps program -- money which goes to fund crack and opiates for the most part. ($1.3 Trillion over 40 years, is the estimate, but that is undiscounted).

If you think the Iraq invasion wasn't responsible for the creation of ISIS then you must not have been paying attention.

No, it was not the primary driver of ISIS. That is similar to claiming the federal government created the Internet. It has a grain of truth but is a vast misrepresentation of the facts, since the Internet as you know it today was created by private enterprise and no one else. It is just an exaggeration of the facts.

ISIS was created during the Iraq War but it had no substance or meaning. It was only after Obama created an environment where it could fester that it eventually became a problem. Had he acted in a reasonable manner -- which Bush did, by the way -- few of us would ever have heard of it. Bush did NOT create the ISIS we know of today. That is a liberal cop-out.

> If we hadn't invaded then all those Sunnis that were part of the Iraqi military would still be part of it and not out trying to start their own caliphate. They would also be providing the best buffer in the region against Iran.

Bush may have provided an environment for ISIS to develop its beginnings, but Bush also left an environment where it could not flourish. Barack Obama created the environment where it could flourish.
