"Bill Gates on his foundation's work to fight climate change.

(and we hear the teeth grind )"

Gates always make Rat grind his. He means well, but he is so wrong. We don't need an energy miracle, we need miraculous deployment of existing technology. The best thing he could do is give every MSFT employee an EV, and either panels or roof-mounted wind turbines. Second best is research in removing carbon from the atmosphere, and/or paying people to plant and water trees.

All we need is an energy miracle. No pressure, kids.

So came the call from Bill Gates on Monday evening with the release of his annual letter. It tackles heady subjects with the billionaire's usual optimistically sober tone. Unlike letters past, Gates aimed this year's missive at teenagers instead of adults, arguing they're our best shot at solving the world's energy crisis.
