My goodness what a broad brush you have Tenny. A lower standard of living in ALL of Europe because of Socialism. You point, with a hint of pride, to working in the Silicon Valley 70 hours per week.

Have you been to Japan where they also work 70 hours a week? But they live in paper houses about the size of American bathrooms?

Try getting your Japanese gardener to work 70 hours a week and see what that gets you. They won't even work in Milpitas any more. You just can't find a decent Japanese yard man anymore.

Mexicans are much more reliable...and cheaper too.
