One of the worst things that bugs me about Trump is the way he uses the military to manipulate folks into voting for him. The Draft avoider did nothing for Veterans while living in NYC for decades and now he pretends to be Mr. fix the VA because he cares so much. Where was he when vets really needed help on the streets of NYC? Absent, the VA reps have never seen him. A persons past does matter, it shows what a person really values. What Trump values is lavish parties, flying around on his plane and entertaining the super wealthy. I can imagine that would be fun, but let's not pretend it represents depth of character, because he understands how to mouth off to the press and spout the right lines during a campaign about military vets.
