MAs are used to buy and sell on pentration by price. The bands reflect overbought and oversold conditions. you buy on upward move thru lower band and sell on downward move thru upper band. No I don't stack MAs like dave. it is a good techique, I just don't use it the bands say price has moved 2 std dev away from avg. this means a highly unprobable move that should correct.
