Are you saying bankers and governments are trustworthy?

Disruptive change just happens, it isn't a matter of agreeing. All reference points are lost and it just happens ... usually involuntarily.

Trade between human beings (if there are any left at that point) will continue though, and now we have the world wide web, is there any real need for bankers of any kind? Communication is necessary for trade, I have read a miniscule amount about commercial law, and its fascinating how it all came about. Safe conduct of goods, services, and money is needed. The situation of the world has changed over the centuries, and maybe our method of payments needs an upgrade. -g-

The current system of exponentially rising debt is designed to fail. No matter how many Octillions of derivatives they push out there. It just brings us to the failure singularity faster and makes it more certain.
