Institutional Holdings in Apricus - Q4 2015

Institutional Holdings for Q4 2015 were reduced by 425,787. This was largely a result of Healthcare Value selling 510,000 during that quarter. As I noted before, this is the first quarter in a long time where Institutional Holdings have been reduced instead of increased ( previous quarters were showing a small steady increase - with exception of the quarter where we have had Direct Offerings ).

Other than Healthcare Value Capital - only Vanguard - our old whale and five other Institutions decreased or sold their position in Apricus.

The list is as follows:

Institution Shares Decreased Shares Owned at Quarter End

Vanguard Group - 33,180 1,444,890
HealthCare Value Capital - 510,000 140,000
Franklin Resources -3,328 110,436
Morgan Stanley - 1,400 8,850
Deutsche Bank - 65 70
Sabby Management -12,176 0
Simplex Trading -101 0

The reason I went into detail, in regards to who decreased and how much, is due to my problem with an Individual posting false information to this regard on the IHUB board. And since I refuse to post on any board - other than here - this is where I share the info.

I had the Institutional Ownership in Apricus around 31% - 32% prior to this quarter. This quarter saw it decrease by 1%. We all know that Apricus initiated another Direct Offering subsequent to Quarter end. So, Institutional Ownership will increase substantially by the time we have Q1 2016 reporting.

One thing to note, Vanguard, already shows an addition of 16,000 shares in January. Not that it's a big deal. But 33,180 isn't a big deal either ( it's very far from Vanguard running to the hills and selling their entire position in Apricus !! ).

Institutional Holdings / Insiders should look as follows for Q4 2015:

9,501,320 Majority of Institutions including Sarissa Capital ( as reported by Nasdaq.com )
2,267,000 Aspire Capital ( as reported by Apricus Bio.com )
3,114,981 Forendo ( as reported by Apricus Bio.com )
135,852 Insiders ( as reported by Apricus Bio.com )

Note: Bank Julius Baer's holdings in Apricus are not included. But if they held on to the shares that were acquired by them during the first direct offering ( not sure exactly why they are not required to report ). That would increase the Institutional Holdings by 1%.

ir.apricusbio.com

We ended the year with about 50,414,000 shares outstanding. Based on 15,019,153. We ended the year with 30% of the shares outstanding in the hands of Institutions or Insiders.

How is that considered Institutions running to the hills and closing their positions on Apricus?

Based the information above. Do you see now why all the NO voters would have been smart to been asking people NOT to vote, instead of voting NO? If every institution voted - based on Q4 holdings - they would not have enough votes for Quorum! Plain and Simple.

And for the record, I just voted my shares a few minutes ago!! Did it through proxyvote.com.
