*The point is the VA accepts donations.* If that is the point, the entire premise must be false. In my 54 year long intimate relationship with the US Army and the VA, I have nevah seen either do a fund raiser for anything. I know in the armed forces such is prohibited. Like all our armed forces, the VA is fully funded (or not) by the federal govt. Where and when did you make your donation to the VA? Who did you give it to?
