I'd have to disagree with you Bruce, the Timberland clothes line is pretty popular around here. Meanwhile, the trend of athletic shoes is turning more to the brown shoe market (http://www.exchange2000.com/%7Ewsapi/investor/main-0)
which we know that TBL has a considerable market share in. When my teenage cousin-in-laws come in with their new Timberlands on I know its time to buy. Myself, I buy a new pair every two years and place my older pair into semi-retirement, hiking only. You can't beat a shoe that you can hike the Appalachian Trail in one day and wipe them off and wear them out for dinner the next night.
