Investor2,

As per my earlier note I mentioned that my previous position was that of the uptrend to continue, meaning new highs across the board basicly. I have changed that position to range trading, which is bearish since it is a step down as it would be with a change from a BUY rating to a HOLD rating. Actually, if one looks at it objectively - range trading is really neutral, neither bearish or bullish.

In an up market I would not short, and in an down market I should not go long as a basic principle, but in a range trading market I will now go both ways when my TA tells me if the the market is oversold or overbought. At this time, the market is in the lower half of the my short-term technicals and has already bounced up out of the oversold range, but is still close to oversold.

Hope I explained it,

Happy New Year

Donald
