Ran across an investment video this morning touting NFC technology and it was very secretive about the information they wanted to sell, but an article last year revealed the NFC components in the new Apple watch.

Apple Watch carries NFC components from NXP and AMS

Just found that Apple is replacing AMS chips and from what I can tell, NXP has been lackluster.

For those that don't know, NFC stands for "Near Field Communication" and I have no plans to invest in the technology.
