Eric: Apple's problem has nothing to do with patents or asking for a "premium". It has to do with their refusal to license their operating systems to other manufacturers. Instead of Apple clones everywhere, we have IBM clones that vastly outnumber macs. Apple screwed themselves out of the chance of being the dominant operating system. Very similar story to the VHS and Betamax situation which I believe was happening at the same time. Too bad for Apple. As for IOMG, they have licensed the manufacturing rights to at least one huge!!! company and will likely add more in the future. Michael Rick
