Dear Ed, I wondered earlier whether the presence of the Cherokee Nation's recently opened gambling place in North Carolina had anything to do with the sudden agressiveness of the politicians in attacking video poker. Your latest about the Catawba Indians place fuels that wonderment. Not that politicians would ever be susceptible to bribes or lobbying efforts, <g> but it is curious that the state AG would suddenly go out on the limb he did. Perhaps the STATE could do a bit of investigation along those lines instead of sounding so holier-than-thou about gambling. Just a thought. Anton
