Big Jake,

I decided that I was not going to invest any money in comapnies dealing with the year 2000 problem. Lots of companies popping up performing these task. Not to mention that all of the big guy's (IBM, Anderson Consulting, Unisys, etc.) are also in this business. Most of the larger companies will use these big guy's since they have contracts with them in one way or another. These little Y2K companies will get their share of business, but it will be more of the smaller companies. This business is going to dry up faster than a worm cought on the driveway when the sun comes up. These companies survive from one job to the next with no repeating revenue. The window of oppotunity is starting to close on this business. Now what happens when the Y2K problem is fixed? A few of these companies may survive if they diversify, but most will become road kill on the internet highway. Picking the right comapny is a *big if* and I think good money can be spent on better buys. Take it form a guy who works for a Fortune 500 computer company.

Good Luck,

JT
