Longevity is getting better for mobile devices, but you may find that having multiple readers is practical for all the formats you read and the situations you use a reader. It's very hard to have a single device do all you want and I realize this wasn't the answer you were looking for, but this approach will increase your options to fill in the gaps and with using several readers, battery and device life will be increased for your different units. * * *
