Both Hillary and Bernie have pledged to not allow ANY fuels be produced from federal lands. No coal, no oil, no natural gas. Even though it's happening on a large scale as we speak.

Clarifying her position to another activist, she said, “No future extraction. I agree with that.” Similarly, Mr. Sanders has co-sponsored legislation in the Senate that would block the development of these resources on federal lands.
