Come on Sonny. We need your mischevious good mood around here. Stop being so down and look at the bright side. Things can't get much worse for our companies (I hope) and if they do so what? we are not going to sell into weakness anyway. We are not that dumb. Intel may be flat to down for another year but as Sonki says look out in 1999. It has behaved that way before. I bought in in 1994 and watched intc do nothing for 6 months and actually go down. There was no sense in selling or complaining as I knew I had purchased shares in America's (the world's) premier tech company. I still know that and the market will eventually come to that conclusion again, not withstanding the Asian crisis or the European slowdown you reference in germany.

I am looking forward to "your old self".

Take care. I hope you enjoyed the quick shot last night.
