Sigmund,

SCREENING PAP SMEAR AND PELVIC EXAM (EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 1998)

Medicare will pay for one pelvic exam, including a clinical breast exam, and pap test every three years. Women who are at high risk for cervical cancer can have these tests on an annual basis. The Part B annual deductible is waived for these services, and they are covered 100% instead of the usual 80% for Part B services.
