Paul, Truth IS stranger than fiction.

I agree, that is the sad part. :o(

However, the future is on our side when it comes to intel.

BTW, I was roaming around CompUSA yesterday counting how many times I saw intel logos, promos, etc. I stopped to watch an intel promo on one of the monitors. It mentioned a number of facts and stats about Pentium II, etc.

I found this promo a lot more interesting and informative than the commercials they are running on TV. I also found it interesting that the promo was set in CHINA, surrounded by school children, etc.

The whole promo just seemed to really tell the customer why they should buy intel NOW. My point is maybe they should have been running this one on national TV instead of the purely "entertainment" commercials they have been showing.

IOW, don't run a car commercial, you notice they never show the engine which is the most impressive part of the machine. Why can't intel really impress people with the technology itself, show how the things are made. One fact that impressed the hell out of me was when they mentioned that the "clean rooms" are 10,000 times cleaner than a surgeon's operating room. Stuff like this would really convince the customer that intel is the best instead of showing a bunch of bunnies dancing around in the middle of the street !!!Why don't they ever mention that they are in 90% of all PC ?? FACTS ARE IMPORTANT. CONSUMERS ARE NOT STUPID.

Anyone out there agree ???

Sorry to ramble.

Happy New Year,

Dennis
