I'm way too long on MTIC when considering what I know about the business they're in. So I appreciate the opportunity to learn while researching things like your post here. Thank you. Apparently, STDM Investors didn't think much of seeing 13 million shares issued to pay for this deal. Stock down 11% (to 3 7/8) the day the deal was announced. Also, STDM's last Q report was terrible, not to mention filled with long term doom and gloom: sec.yahoo.com Makes you wonder why they're staying in business. If you're familiar with STDM, can you tell us what spiked the stock from 6 to 15 in May? Since then of course, they've been in the tank and are currently trading near their 52 week low. The merger looks like an act of desperation. Thanks again for the learning opportunity, Greg
