When the very old, wrinkled Evangelicals start to say they have been a registered Republicans for many years, and are seriously thinking of changing parties, you are witnessing the first steps in the disintegration of the Republican Party. Finger pointing whiners dissolving into unelectable splinter groups swirling down the toilet of history. Their best bet will be a coalition in the house to try to salvage something of the right-wing. It won't work. Trump was the linchpin in the demise of the Republicans. Why did we ever do that they will say for decades.
