Del was someone I could really relate to and respected, it is really unfortunate to have never been able to meet him face to face.

I hope he did not suffer and wish the best to his friends and family as they mourn his passing.

Even though we only knew him through online connections, some of us did get to know him and he will be missed.

Unfortunately we didn't know he was ill (maybe it was sudden?), but I for one would have liked to have had the opportunity to let him know his online friends cared and appreciated his discussions over the years.

It really hammers home for me that there are real people with real lives behind these online personalities we interect with here. Its easy to forget that.
