Fortunately I have a son who is first year student at "The University" (as the locals used to call it), so I get to go up there every so often. Ch'ville sure has grown! Your son is considering two very fine schools. Let me know what he decides to do or if I or my son could help him in any way.

RE: Christmas symbols, I'll admit to being torn between my culture loyality and my sense of fairness. Delbert, although perhaps a bit strident or angry, does have some valid points, and his views must be respected, as you point out. I'm sure we won't settle it today, but I'll try to think of some unifying statement which will make us all happy (doubtful!).
