Cruz's biggest problems are his long-winded answers that sound like official proclamations and his facial tic where he smirks after each sentence. He has never met a yes or no question that he couldn't turn into a speech.

His policies, political courage and votes are exactly what I want from a politician, but he's just not a very good communicator, in my view.
