judy, PC revenues by regions, and stocks to short? EMC ok to LONG? there are many stocks you could be shorting, surely Dell can go down but for e.g. WLA, PFE maybe a better pick. If market melts drug industy is going to pay a big fine. These companies have earning growth of 14-17% and PE of 40-45. i sold my ira dell at 100 and sold leaps against half of my leaps at 90. how bout amzon, i think if maybe time that indsiders can free up some shares. (i heard some thing about this). msft, dell and pfe : insiders hold 26%. so at some point they will not mind owning 30%. dell is actually benefiting from this Asia deal. They have had $6m days this qurter. On an avrg $3m/day over the net. I have heard very many horror stories about shorting DELL Third-quarter 1997 global revenues by percent North America Japan Asia-Pacific Europe Apple Computer 53% 18% 6% 21% Compaq 58% 3% 6% 28% Computer Dell Computer 71% 4% 3% 22% Gateway 2000* 87% N/A 5% 8% FAKE RUMORS: there is also this rumor Dell advised a lower earnings forecast due to the Asian crisis. M.Dell has said quite the opposite. on cnbc and other shows. I would assume he would not lie. judy, please short knowing above info, even if i am all correct stock can move to 62 like u said. that is why i have not uncovered my leaps (and also don't want to take profit this yr). ARE u saying it's ok to go long EMC? I m longing for long somewhere.
