Perhaps the report from the J/V when it is released will offer a bit more.

I was thinking about the Volume on CUU.
I clued in as I took my original investment out of WRN which I bought 3 weeks ago. . I'll let the profits run. I picked up a bit of another one today.

The way I play when coming out of a bottom is to take a position when it rises enough, I take my investment back, plus the $20 trade fee and let the rest run. Then look for another entry in something else where. With only the profits left on the table it removes financial risk.

I checked a few others then JJC " I-Path Copper Total Return Index" NYSE .
It appears like it has put in a 3 month bottom and today broke above it's 50 day average trade price. Most copper is on the rise at the moment.

The price and the image of the total package , Elmer has painted on the Web Site is pretty impressive to new people seeing copper lifting off the floor. I would venture to guess it represents a good portion of the volume. Presently Book value is listed at 18 cents per share. Many stocks trade 3 to 5 times book in good times.

Southern Copper today traded 2.1 million shares at $26 The Cu. cycle may be on the mend.

Cheers
