GB,
Recommend you read some of the SI thread "Year 2000:Impact on Stock Market and Society." It only discusses the Y2K problem, and does not permit hyping of any particular stock. I am working the Y2K problem for my company and your impressions of the problem are fairly common. Facts are, this is a wider problem than believed, costs more to fix, and takes more time than estimated. Couple that with a world wide high tech labor shortage, and industries already very far behind, and you have what Gartner Group predicts is already a six hundred billion dollar market (minimum). In November, Gartner also said only 15% of industry world wide was even started.
IMHO,Y2K will be big in 1998.
