OT/One club member had a Celestron 14", Schmidt Cassegrain, another a 12" Newtonian Total membership had to be 50 or more although, sometimes, but only 20-25 regularly set up together on the planned trips to the desert dark sites.

Quite a few of them were great "star hoppers". I was super impressed. They could quickly locate and view almost any discernible deep space object. Ring Nebula was a particularly interesting looker.

Where did you go to college?

TIA
