<needing a big oil come back> I hope you aren't "needing" a V-shaped recovery, because I don't see that as very likely... possible, but not the most likely outcome... the good news is that I'm seeing indications that last week's short squeeze has some legs with several names I follow crossing over (20-day moving ave. rising above 100-day and 200-day moving averages)... more interestingly, I'm see positive signs out of key OSX equipment makers and I really can't explain it other than a lot of hedgies covered short positions and are now net neutral or even long... 1/3 of all energy shorts covered last week, and long options increased 25%... fundamentally, I'm not seeing big signs of a recovery, but the TA is suggesting we may have formed a bottom in the sector -- midstream and to some extent upstream as well... though CAM and NOV are also crossing over, so maybe OSX equipment/services sub sector is also putting in a bottom... I expect any recovery to be slow on average with occasional spikes and dips -- volatility will be normal...

I see that you are indeed heavily invested in various energy sub sectors... as long as you don't panic, you should be just fine... in a few years, you'll look back at this and tell stories... good luck!
