In a unity ticket, Rubio would be VP and you'd have the benefit of both of them campaigning together. If Rubio loses Florida and yet facilitates Trump getting the nomination by not bowing out in time, he is finished as a politician. Cruz could offer him Sect of State where the energizer bunny could talk to his heart's content. He could then run again in 8 years. I think Rubio is too small a man to do the right thing.
