Ron--I bought him a Trimble GPS unit when he graduated from flight school. He's used it many times up in San Fran. I'm printing your response and sending it up to him to show to his flight crew. When I brought up the subject the last time I talked to him--he had no clue about what could or could not fail. The GPS saved his life last year, he had mechanical problems and had to land on a mountain top---they pin pointed his position with the GPS I bought him. He was OK but I got lots of gray hair from worry. Jan
