Simon Rose, a trader with Prime Charter securities, states that when the government auctions LMDS spectrum, names rumored to be bidding are guys like Bill Gates and Craig McCaw. These licenses will probably go for anywhere from $2 to $35 per pop. Given that CVUS' license NYC encompasses approximately 8.6 million people, CVUS license could be worth up to $301 million (8.6 million times $35), according to Rose.
