"Unfortunately, the entire storage segment is being beaten down due to it's relationship to the hard disk biz - which is currently a disaster."

Agreed, I unforunately own Western Digital. But the justification of any correction in the mass storage companies simply because of the price wars going on with the disk drive companies is not justified. In fact, I see this as a positive and an opportunity to exploit an incorrect perception in the marketplace. Companies using RAID technology currently have an opportunity to see product costs decrease as the DD makers fight it out. This provides companies like MTIC to improve margins by cutting their product cost. The possiblity of MTIC and its likes to cut sales prices without damaging margins is at hand. The execs at MTIC specifically mentioned this at their last conference call that the siginificant drop in DD prices was a big benefit to the last quarter numbers. All you have to do is go into a computer store to see that the DD guys are still going at it good. I expect to see a continued benefit from the Seagate vs Western Digital vs Quantum vs IBM vs Fujitsu vs anyone else in MTIC's earnings.
