Hi Steve et al:
I read your suggested list and have pondered the same question of reducing the number of mutual funds. I have two thoughts:
1.) I have favored T. R. Price for many years. Do you hesitate using only one M Fund Family ?
2.) Did you consider the Vanguard Family ? Their expense ratio is the lowest in the industry and some of their funds have gained more than 80+ % or so of all of the funds.
The Independent Adviser (1-800-211-7642) is an advisory service which gives buy/sell reco's for Vanguard's funds. Its goal is to beat the their Index Fund which ranked # 3 of all funds this current year.
Believe me, I have no association with any of the above, but I am personally considering moving in this direction after Jan 1.
I would appreciate anyone's reactions particularly those negative ones.
Sincerely, MGW
