I never expected much to happen with Copper Fox until Teck eventually buys Shaft Creek. Which is how it will end up in my opinion. The rest of Copper Foxes holdings I could care less about. I have no money in CUU at the moment. Nor have I had since since I sold, except for trading the rallies. I do not scour every news release. If anything significant comes out somebody puts it on a forum.
I seen where CUU transferred the Liard shares to the J/V and that the partners would have to be responsible to pay CUU for their respective portion. But have not seen anything disclosed on how much CUU was paid for them. or if funds have been transferred. Thinking if it was a significant amount it would help their financial position, and the need to raise operating capital would be kicked farther down the road.

Now that you ask I glanced back at the N/R where it says this.

"Copper Fox's share of the purchase price will be deemed to be included in the Pre-Production Costs as that term is defined in the Schaft Creek Joint Venture Agreement, "
So how much did Teck pay for the remaining 75% and has C/F received the funds ? Perhaps it may be in the financials which came out 10 days ago.

The "it may never Happen" was in response to Livelife's position that other companies have larger share floats and have not consolidated. Which if one checks is fact.

My software provides a feature called "Custom Sort" which allows you to isolate specific things your searching for. I did a random sort on 50% of stocks listed on the TSX.v for share float size. Out of 50% of the 2287 TSX.V listings
I found there were 11 with a higher share float than C/F The highest USO.V 853.1 M & MJS with a float of 839.8M So it is possible they won't consolidate. But it is not the Norm. Far greater number did roll backs where floats were smaller than CUU's.

What did they get paid for the Liard shares and what did they do with the funds ?
