Sankar, I could not agree more with your post to Tommaso re: investment opportunitys via SE Asian funds. In many cases the premium due to artificial barriers is way too much of a handicap. On the other hand, just as your comments suggest, if you can find a way for direct investment in selected equitys then there are some bargains. I am looking for companies with very low debt., high cash balances, and an export laden product line. Surprisingly there are several of these right here on the KLSE. It seems that not all Asian managers were building skyscrapers but rather, were tending to their knitting. Thanks for your usual concise analysis. Best, Stitch
