This is hard to right after THAT game. There was no way the Giants lose, unless they curl up and go into a ball, which is what they did. The coaching staff thought that they had the game won at halftime!! Fassel may have been coach of the year, but he has no experience in the playoffs, and it showed. The Giant D got real looose after the mid point of the 3 Qtr. That coaching staff had no appreciation for playoff ball whaTSsoever. You cannot turn off yr offense after the half, and then rekindle it after the other team makes a move. Yeah there were individual mistakes, but this loss should lay at the feet of Fasssel. He gagged when glory was so close. In NY sports, this may have been the greatest flop. The Vikes really do suck, but they beat us square and Fassel. RK
